Machu Picchu, Cusco & Jungle Tour Itinerary

DAY 1 -- LIMA CITY TOUR AND GASTRONOMIC TOUR OF LIMA

Today you will arrive in Lima, the capital of Peru. Lima was built by the Spanish near the Pacific Ocean, in the center of Peru's coast, on the two banks of the Rimac River (Rimac), at the foot of Cerro San Cristobal. It was the Spanish answer to Cusco (Cusco) inland, the capital of the vanquished Inca culture.

Upon landing, our representative at the airport will be waiting to give you an explanation of the course of the trip to Peru and drive to your hotel in central Lima after the arduous trip to South America. In Lima you can find excellent restaurants at reasonable prices, serving Western food alongside South American food. If you are a seafood enthusiast you can enter one of the many restaurants in the city, especially those located along its shores, serving fresh seafood from the Pacific Ocean.

Take an independent walk in your hotel area in the bohemian area of the Barranco neighborhood and you can already taste one of the special Ceviche dishes that characterize the country.

In the afternoon you will meet your private guide and take a special food tour in Lima, where you will be exposed to more than 15 Peruvian foods and beverages in one of Lima's most beautiful neighborhoods – in his artistic and bohemian wallet. You will have the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn how to make the famous Ceviche and Pisco Sour and also learn about all the historical and cultural details behind each dish.
